I'm interested in the pretty sides and the ugly ones.
The polished exterior, the bad decision underneath it. The girl who tries so hard to be good as she quietly unravels. The joke that slips out at exactly the wrong moment. The silence when someone finally allows themselves to be seen.
I'm drawn to worlds that feel lived-in. Where vulnerability doesn't have to look beautiful, and people aren't so neatly good or bad.
That's the kind of work I want to make. Human enough to recognize yourself in, and strange enough to stay with you.
